Jarvis Program

If you type the command 'voice', you can change to Jarvis' voice that we use. This voice is 'Lawrence' by Cepstral, with an effect, and is far superior to Window's offering. The only issue is that of a legal one. You will need to buy a license from Cepstral to stop the constant nagging, this we apologise for. However there is still one problem, the voice by default Windows will revert to the default sounds for it’s AI which in my opinion sounds horrible, unfortunately the only working method to get the Jarvis voice is through a paid program called Ivona and a separate module called “Brian UK voice”.

Jarvis is created by The Pennyworth Project, and it’s a great context-sensing software program with prediction support. It supports Learners, Predictions, Rules, and Sensors. Jarvis is a fully accelerated application framework for building multimodal conversational AI services that use an end-to-end deep learning pipeline.

Everbridge platform to support Department of Defense antiterrorism program to keep military personnel and facilities safe; U.S. Army is first to leverage JARVISS in branch-wide rollout

Burlington, Mass. – October 30, 2018Everbridge, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVBG), the global leader in critical event management and enterprise safety software applications to help keep people safe and businesses running, today announced that JARVISS (Joint Analytic Real-Time Virtual Information Sharing System)is now the U.S. Army’s enduring enterprise system for threat visibility. The Everbridge platform is powering JARVISS, creating a premier global threat information sharing system that will help enable the Army to effectively and efficiently identify and assess incidents and threats, in close proximity to military facilities, in a near real-time environment.

The Everbridge Critical Event Management (CEM) platform will be used by the Army to transform global threat information originating from more than 80,000 open sources (including social media, news media, local municipality services, commercial business, and government sources)into actionable information, providing the Army an enterprise system for sharing and reporting threat information and mitigating risk across Army bases and facilities around the world. Prior to JARVISS, the Army lacked a centralized system for real-time, unclassified, threat information-sharing as terrorist attacks or related incidents unfolded. The Department of Defense (DoD) directed the Army to develop a solution to better protect U.S. military personnel and interests following the shootings at military installations in Fort Hood and Chattanooga. The Army’s Office of the Provost Marshal General selected the JARVISS platform provided by Everbridge as a joint solution for the problem.

“U.S. Army bases like Fort Hood, standalone facilities such as recruiting stations, and Reserve and National Guard operational units, all demonstrate the diversity of the Army and its integration with local communities, both in the U.S. and abroad,” said Mr. Alex Mascelli, Army Antiterrorism Division Chief. “The complexity of threats and the overwhelming need for information sharing among the various DoD Components, Military Services, and Federal law enforcement communities is critical to countering terrorist activities and protecting our military personnel. The Everbridge critical event management platform is instrumental to JARVISS’ ability to provide a common operating threat picture for real-time situational awareness and response management to protect all Army personnel and assets.”

Powered by Everbridge, JARVISS will help enhance the Army’s ability to receive and catalog hazardous events, suspicious activities and threat information, providing users the ability to view threat information before, during and after an incident. The Everbridge platform enables JARVISS users to geo-locate DoD assets in a potential impact zone and disseminate and share information through the JARVISS Mobile App, text alerts, e-mails and other modalities.

In addition to protecting the Warfighter through a common operational picturefor real-time threat alerting, JARVISS is designed with a multi-tier architecture to collaborate with other agencies including law enforcement, emergency management, and civil defense to share information and control access based on trust levels of users and platforms.

“The Everbridge team is honored to power JARVISS and provide 48,000 Army users worldwide with threat intelligence and data to protect our soldiers and their families across our nation and around the world,”said Jaime Ellertson, CEO of Everbridge. “Increasing the collaboration between the U.S. Army, other DoD components and Federal partners is a critical part of the Army’s antiterrorism strategy and how it organizes for success. At Everbridge, we share a deep sense of responsibility towards those who keep us safe.”

JARVISS received a DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authority to Operate in April 2018. JARVISS is currently being rolled out Army-wide with pilots planned for other services and government agencies over the coming year.
